Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris.

http://i46.tinypic.com/bdo1ue.jpg

It is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build.
It was completed in 1604..

The 26 year old above took the time to smell the flowers but ignored the bridge:confused:

I for one, can forgive her.

I still say...that's some bridge...some buttress..

Buttress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A buttress is an architectural structure built against (a counterfort) or projecting from a wall which serves to support or reinforce the wall. ...

IN a strange way this bridge could be considered a buttress as it holds up the walls on both sides.
Perhaps over done but none the less...that is probably the stongest part of the wall.

I just noticed....her skirt matches the colour of the flowers (roses or geraniums?)

Am I the only one with an eye for 'detail' :D
