It’s no big secret that I find stickys very annoying. no one reads them except the new people who always click on the first post, then even they may or may not read it.
And after you have seen it a couple hundred times then the odds are that even if someone does update it you will never know, your suffering from sticky blindness.
Relax it happens to everyone, I know I have had many of my stickys gone unread, I have probably not read a lot of them too.
But I realize that some people love their stickys as much as I hate them. So in the spirit of compromise I have written a little change into the software here at hundredbling.net that will allow everyone to be happy no matter which side of the sticky fence your on.
Here is how it works, if you find yourself getting annoyed by all the stickys then:
click on “UserCP” (in the bar under the logo)
then click “edit options”
second from the bottom is “start of the week” if you change that to Monday then you won’t see the stickys anymore.
(you have to click the save changes button at the bottom)
change it back to “Sunday” and all the stickys are back.
***Everyone starts out seeing all the stickys.
So now everyone can live happily ever after, and the sticky people can sticky their little hearts out and the un-sticky people do not have to be annoyed any longer.
