[update] this is no longer working, because it must be reinstalled after each update and was taking too much time.
I have changed the way that stickys are displayed in case you want to turn them off,
if your calendar is set to "Monday" as the start day then you will not see sticky posts.
to change your calendar start day go to:
User CO
Edit Options
Start of Week
change it to monday for no stickys
any other day to display all stickys
