AUSTIN, Texas - The blind would be able to go hunting if a Texas bill becomes law.The bill would allow legally blind hunters to use a laser sight, or lighted pointing instrument, which is forbidden for sighted hunters, according to State Rep. Edmund Kuempel, who introduced it.
"This opens up the fun of hunting to additional people, and I think that's great," Kuempel said.
I read the stroy on MSN News. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16157202/)
OK, is it just me or does giving guns to blind people and telling them "sure go hunting"....
is that really a good idea?
The vice president went hunting and accidently shot someone, and his eye sight is fine. Of course maybe it would have been harder for him to shoot the guy if the VP was blind??? not sure.
