How to peel a pomegranate
To peel a pomegranate, first cut off the crown and gently scoop out some of the center core without disturbing the seeds. With a sharp knife, score just through the outer rind around the fruit in quarters. Put your thumb in the core center and gently pull apart the sections. Peel away the inner white papery skin covering the seeds and discard. Gently invert the skin inside out and the seeds will pop out to be easily removed without bruising.

I have been doing this...before I read about it.

I then put a teaspoon of the fruit in my mouth ..masticate...and spit the inner seed. The burst of juice in the mouth is delicious. and very refreshing. Nice when a bit cold.

I will have to try that,
I always just dig a hole in the side,
then pull out the seeds one at a time,
this method can take a couple hours.

but if you have nothing else to do then who cares?

now if there was a way to get the edible stuff in 1 pile and the seeds in another I might give it a try
