ISP is MTNL (Available only in Mumbai or Delhi)
charged around 590 INR (~14 USD) / Per month for 2 mbps downlaod, 512 kbps upload (Night Unlimited) ... still pathetic..

just heard frm our local telefone xchange guy that speeds are going to be increased to 10 mbps at the end of this year..

and i tihink they will still hav crappy 1 GB limits on 10 mbps plans :o

Looking at the previous posts, I can now understand why people are able to download so much stuff online. It's because the Internet connection is blazing fast. Back in Malaysia where I come from, the 'broadband' is usually 512kbps - 1Mbps. That's basically the best one can get.....
