can someone please explain what is going on with the signatures?

why do I keep seeing stuff like this "approved by Bling Ask Him!"?

the sig thing....was a big fight over who could use it to advertize their sites

I don't really see a problem with advertising in signatures, I don't like the ones that are flashing and spinning and stuff that make it hard for me to read the posts.

and of course people spamming is annoying, so I guess there has to be some limits.

As long as they are not annoying then I really don't care so much.

If Dr. Doom comes back and puts 400 links in his signature then, that's annoying, and like I said anything that flashes and moves so much it makes it hard for me to read the forums is out...

I just put a picture in my avatar with no problem.

Your sig has not appeared in your posts, so there must be something wrong which we are trying to fix at the moment. :p

I just changed all members accounts so that they can now use images in their signatures, it was turned off before.

so the img tages should work as of now. :D

2 things...

1. when I tried to put a picture in my signature for some reason it would not work if I previewed the signature first. I had to save it with out looking at it. No idea what is up with that, but if your having trouble try that.

2. Rosy, I didn't know that dirty underwear was in your signature. lol

I thought you just posted it.... now everytime I see that picture it makes me want to go check my underwear. How long were you thinking about keeping it in your signature?

Help! I can't put a picture in my sig... I don't have that option in my 'Edit Profile'. Can somebody help? :) Maybe I'm missing something. :)

it has been a while since I looked at that, but I think you may not have access to images in your signature until your account has been upgraded.
you have to make 2 posts then wait for the system to check and promote your account.
Then I think you will be able to see the shout box and put images in your signature.

Someone let me know if that's not right.
