The big news this week is that the Archdiocese of Los Angeles lost a $660 million dollar lawsuit for sexual abuse of 500 kids.
No one is surprised that the priests are molesting little boys, that's to the point now where it's rather common,
but everyone seems surprised that they sell insurance for that,
the insurance they have on their priests for molesting kids will pay for around half of the settlement.
Every week there is something in the news here about another priest getting caught with some 8 year old boy, is it like this in other countries too?
or is this just an American thing?
