Funny you should ask that, I was just thinking about my last car. I had a 1975 Chevy Nova it was worth about $400 on a good day. I drove it every where.

One day I was trying to pull onto the freeway and a guy with a brand new Mercedes saw me trying to get on, and he hit the gas to try and speed up enough to cut me off.
This is always kind of annoying and I always slow down and let them in front, but this particular day it was just something about this guy in his bran new car thinking that he owned the whole damn road, and I just decided I wasn't going to stop, no matter what!

Something just snapped in my brain when I noticed he still had the dealer license plates on his car, and I just decided I was going to stand up and not let this guy push me around just because he thought he was hot **** in his new car, and if he wasn’t going to let me in, then I was going to make a point for everyone who drives a $400 car…
I was going to ram him.

The guy did a really good job of cutting me off, his car was much faster than I thought it would be....
except for one small thing, my car didn't cost over $100,000 like his did... and my car wasn't just off the dealers showroom floor…
and he just picked the wrong day to try and cut someone off.

I just thought to myself, ok, this is going to be interesting... let see if he really wants this space bad enough to ram me with his new car
(or let me ram him, however you want to look at it).

So I just pretended like I didn't seem him and just kept pulling into the lane, he honked and I just kept looking straight ahead like I couldn't hear him. He waited until the very last second, I almost thought he was going to let me hit him, then he slammed on the brakes and got out of my way.

He was really really mad, and I was just thinking to myself “well.. having a $100,000 car didn’t really help you out in this situation did it buddy?”

If he would have had an old beat up car, I would have hit my brakes pulled in behind him and never thought about it again, but now every time I think about this guy in his new Mercedes it make me laugh. :D :D :D

That was the real beauty of having a $400 car, no one would steal it, my friends all joked with me about not parking it too close to their house when I would visit, because they didn't want anyone to see it there.

I just remembered another time I parked next to a really nice Honda, and someone broke the window out of the Honda and obviously took something out of it, (I think the cd player) but I left my car unlocked and they didn't even bother to look in it. :D

Thanks - it's very happy. I like happy things.
Oh, I did the artwork. I used to do children's entertaining and always painted my vehicle and even though I don't do that anymore, I still have this urge to paint cars. I painted my Dad's like a cow once...tee hee. He hated it, but my Mom loved it. People used to moo at them...tee hee. He won't let me near his new one - hmmm...people are strange.
