Thought I had tonsillitis

I went to the doctor yesterday because I really thought I had tonsillitis, had all the symptoms. but of course while I was waiting to see the doctor my symptoms changed.
I really hate that, I always wonder if they believe me when I tell them that.

anyway, they did a throat culture and I will find out today for sure, but now it's looking like I just have a really bad case of influenza.

so it should go away on it's own in a few days to a week.

anyone have any favorite cures for the cold or flu?

I expect rosy will come up with something, but if I get the flu, I go to bed with a hot water bottle and sweat it out!! :D Are you feeling any better?

it's just starting so probably won't feel too good for a couple days anyway, mostly just an upset stomach and tired now.

on Saturday I was sure I had tonsillitis, the doctor told me no I just have a cold or flu, then all my symptoms changed. Now today I am sure I have a flu because I have all the sysmptoms for one.
The doctor calls and says no the culture came back and I have tonsillitis.
so I just went and got the prescription for it.
probably should start working in around 2 or 3 days.

hopefully they won't call me back in a couple days and tell me no, that's not right, you really have something else.... :)
