Just a thought, but shouldn't Utopia be specifying No Robots and making sure no spidering occurs in order to protect the content as seems to be the objective ?

robots can't sign up as members so they can't spider much anyway.

As Dr Evil would say - "rrrrriiiigggghhhhttttt"

I think the entire site should be spider free and not just sections though...not just to protect content, but users too !!
Incriminating evidence takes many forms...

Not trying to get into a big debate about internet safety,
but every site you go to has the ability to record all the information that your computer makes available, that's just the way the internet works.

and I have seen many people who are very paranoid about spiders, but I can't imagine how they can have any impact on the users or their safety, if you have any links to information I would be interested in seeing it. (but not the hoaxes). :)

it reminds me of the email my aunt got that said if she opened it then all the money that she had in the bank would be withdrawn by this email. So she raced to the bank to close out her bank accounts before the email got all her money, then she started telling all her friends and relatives about this email that could steal all your money.
I really felt sorry for her, but what can you do?
I always wonder how many of her friends she scared into racing to the bank too?

Quite right, and that's the point, especially with sites "like this".
My pc transmits NADA beyond the bare minimum to achieve the desired result, but Google can be a real traitor

I would prefer the black-hole website : nothing escapes its interior...
