Is there a Nuked files website, I've tried to google one, but I only found comments about individual torrent files, not a whole list.

What are Nuked files? This should be in the requests section.

Nuked files are when someone intentionally removes things from a file (program, music, or other) and then puts it back up, (uploads it) making it totally useless. This is usually done in very large files but smaller files can be affected also. Just a few examples are:


albums with several tracks missing
tracks in albums are not what is promised (though labeled correctly, or the actual song files are nothing but the hooks playing over and over.

software with necessary files missing to allow it to install or run.

promised cracks, etc that aren't included
useless files added that can actually cause OS damage.
Mainly any upload that is purposely sabotaged. (Not the same meaning though as when viruses or spyware are included)

This was a LOT on Peer To Peer Networks, and now can also be found on Torrents.

It's either done just to be malicious, or to discourage sharing. I haven't been aware of a "list" of these though, and see no possible way for anyone to keep a list. But they are out there. So always check your downloads. And ALWAYS scan them!

No it's NOT NICE at all. The MAFI@@ & and the RI@@ put moles out there to do that for music and films. I suspect, software companies etc have done the same thing. HOWEVER, you have MEAN people that do it also.. They don't know how to include bugs, so this is the next best thing to them.

Most of the above is done by 'Vandal kiddie hackers'. Being destructive appeals to their sence of having fun.
