I have a logitech mouse, and it's ok except the cord gets caught on the keyboard and other stuff on my desk and it annoys me.

It's an optical mouse so I really like not having to clean that ball anymore, that really bothered me.

so… last week before I got sick, I bought a microsoft optical cordless mouse for $55 thinking I would like it more.

The problems:

1. the microsoft mouse didn't slide like the logitech that I am used to, it would kind of drag across every surface.

2. the wheel was very sticky and slow, you have to work to get it to scroll down on the page.

3. the microsoft mouse weighs a ton because it has batteries in it.

4. the buttons click a little funny.

5. the software didn't install on my computer right so it's not really working right after I spent a lot of time messing with it.

each one of those things by themselves I probably could live with, but when you put them all together and throw on the $55 price, I decided I was better off just being annoyed by the cord on my old mouse. So I am going to returned the microsoft mouse and get my money back.

so what kind of mouse do you use?

I actually have 3 mouses connected to my computer.

1. Razer copper head
2. Logitech G5
3. Mircosoft Mouse

Each mouse is use for certain things, like the razer mouse is to play certain fps, and the g5 is to play certain games, and the ms mouse is used when ever i work at home

you need one of those keyboard protectors they use on computers that the auto mechanics have, they kind of have a piece of rubberized plastic over all the keys and you can spill anything on it and it won't matter. :)

either that or just buy cheap keyboards and replace them when they go out, last time I checked I could get a keyboard for $4.99
