I don't really know why I am doing this but it looks like I am going to download all the rapidshare software and just make sure that none of it really works.
Anyway, here is something that will save you some time and it really works on rapidshare.
Rapidshare traces the users IP address to limit each user to a certain amount of downloading per day. To get around this, you need to show the rapidshare server, a different IP address. You can do this one of multiple ways.
Short-Out the javascript:
1. Goto the page you want to download
2. Select FREE button
3. In the address bar put the following: javascript:alert(c=0)
4. Click OK
5. Click OK to the pop-up box
6. Enter the captcha
7. Download Your File
When you do this the download timer will jump to zero and you will be able to immediately download your file.
- EDIT -
Ok, I just found out this works for taking out the timer, but when you do this then you can't download the file, it will give you an error.
- EDIT -
Ok, I just changed the Rapidshare timer to 10 and it worked and I was able to download the file. javascript:alert(c=10)
- EDIT -
This worked for a few weeks last year, but like everything else when people started using it then Rapidshare fixed it so it's no good anymore.
