Gigasize.com gives you 90 days for your files rapidshare only saves your files for 30
Gigasize.com also lets you upload 1.5 gig files, rapidshare only lets you upload 100k
and with Gigasize.com there is no wait to download, rapidshare makes you wait each time.

Gigasize.com also has a program where you get points for each file anyone downloads and you can trade your points for a premium membership to the site.

it seems like verything they have is better than rapidshare.

here is another one with no wait times to download:

Looks good, only trouble is rapidshare is the one most people use, so most of the links continue to be rapidshare. There are lots of others sites out there, but they seem to come and go, but rapidshare is reliable, always there!! :D

I can't argue with that, it does seem like rapidshare is the most popular, but....

rapidshare deletes a lot of files. I guess more than half the files I try to download are deleted because they are over 30 days old, or they have been shared (what ever that means).

so if your losing more than 50% of your files at 30 days, my guess is that gigasize will probably be around that long, and they claim they have never delete a file yet, (that wasn't reported to them).

Now add on the ability to use 1.5 gig files with no waiting, and it just seems to me there is a lot of up side and not that much down side.

I have seen some DVD rips with a dozen files or so, this is going to take someone without a premium rapidshare account 4 days or more to download, if you do it like I do and just check back when you think about it. I would think the ability to download that with one file and no waiting would make it very very useful, and (to me anyway) rapidshare is almost useless in this situation.

but that's just my opinion... your mileage may vary. :D
