I will show you some tricks and tips to make your experience with us more fun B) . I will also endeavor to explain various parts of the inner working of the forum so that you may know more about us, our project, forums in general. Ok let's begin.
~~Inserting Pictures, Quotations, and Code(s) into posts.
To insert Pictures into a post simply copy the link then and click the Yellow Picture (with the mountain) on the top of the posting box, a small box will appear then paste your link in the box.
To find the link of a picture put your mouse over the picture then right click, then click on properties.

Then look for Location and copy the link to the right. If your using firefox then your pop up box should look like the one above.
you can try it on this picture:

if you put your mouse over the picture then right click, then click on properties, you should find a box similar to the one pictured above.
This will pull up the picture when the post is accessed. Or you can use the following "insert" text. Put [ img] at the front of the link and [ /img] at the rear of the link.
HOSTING PICTURES
That works for pictures that you run across on the internet, like the one above that I found a photobucket,
but if you have your own picture and you want to post it then you must host the picture someone first.
So first you go to a photo hosting site like http://tinypic.com/ and upload your picture,
after you upload your picture, then copy the IMG Code link and paste it into your post.
your picture should appear when you look at your post.
QUOTES
To Wrap text in quote you can use one of two options. If you are responding to a post, you can push the quote button to show the specific person you are replying to. This will copy their entire text (or you can edit it to whatever text you want) and allow you to respond.
To manually put in a quote use the following insertion text...[ quote](your quote)[ /quote]
Using quote is the same as adding a picture. Highlight the entire text that you want to put as a code and then click the icon the looks like # (at the top of the posting bar) and that will code it. If you want to directly insert a quote use the following insertion text.
CODE
[ code]your code [/ code]
Please note**! Do not put in the spaces (i.e. [ code]) I just put that in there so it wouldn't actually code or quote what I was writing. To manually insert pictures, codes, or quotes just remove the space and it will do it!
