This site attracts people from all over the world, some people do not use english as their first language, and some may not have had the opportunity to learn english that others have had.
Traveling around the world I have had the opportunity to meet many people who were excited to just have me speak english to them so they could learn something. I have also found if you pay attention there is always something you can learn from them too.
Other times I have seen people who make fun of others who they feel do not have the same level of proficiency at the english language. I find this rather sad, and each time I think of the opportunity this person had to learn something and they just choose to close their mind, and try to turn it into an opportunity to look down on someone.
I would encourage everyone to try to look for opportunities to learn something.
