Music within the ambient genre include, but are not limited to:

Dan Gibson's Solitudes, Steve Roach, Paul Schwartz, Oliver Shanti, Klaus Schulze, Kitaro, Enya, Enigma, David Arkenstone, Steven Halpern, Clifford White, Gary Stadler, Ulrich Schnauss, LTJ Bukem, George Winston, Achillea, Joanie Madden, Andreas Vollen, Corciolli, Deuter, Buda Bar, Llewellyn, Riley Lee, Snatam Kaur, Stephan Micus, Reiki, Deuter, Ayurveda, Dan Gibson, Mickey Hart and Perry Rhodan... Whew! To name a few... There are soooo many others not named here. The genre is packed with a very wide range of audio sculpting talents. Some composers bring the mentioned above artistes together making the compilation(s) of Cafe Del Mar and iBiza <-- Very Kool Music!

Well, there UR. If you want more info or assistance, I'll be here. :)

Again, THX 4 Ur site. It saves me so much cash and time, where here I can find a single song I like, instead of buying the entire CD, listen to it - if I like it or not then buying a licensed one at iTunes. It's ALL GOOD! Thank you!

Is Ambient anything like "elevator"? I'm going to try and find something by one of these artists right now but at the moment I don't recognize even one... who would you say is a prime example (how bout a link to a Utopia post with a link)

(Nice use of size and colour (in the second post) BTW :- ) )

Update --> ahh.. found some Achillea... http://www.hundredbling.net/showthread.php?t=60126&highlight=achillea best of luck with the new group idea... I'm afraid I gotta borrow a line my dad used to say when I was a kid... that "stuff" all sounds the same to me :- )

Ambient music is nice when I'm having a bath. Lots of bubbles, candles and soft drifting music...hmmm... I can't wait for winter... watching the snow fall softly while bubbling away... heaven. It's just not the same in summer. I love winter.

I live in Los Angeles, so even my winters are like most peoples summers. Have never seen snow...except at a distance. Woe is me. lol
