I always like to encourage people to follow their dreams on the internet, it can be a very cool place.

Can't imagine why they would ban you for asking a question like that?

I know that some people really like to flex their power, I really don't like it when things are done to members here with out talking to them first about it. Or at the very least telling them what you have done and why, so the person at least knows, personally I think that is the least you can do.

I know others disagree with this philosophy but I still think it is the best way to deal with people.

I agree with your philosophy! If you abuse your powers, you won't have any members to have fun with! I personally don't like banning members when I owned my own site... But, if it had to be done, like people trying to scam, or spam bots, I would have to ban.
