Anyone need a deck?

I had to show off my latest deck I built for a friend. Although I work in a factory now, I used to do vinyl siding and contractors would get me to build decks and do screen porches when I had time from installing vinyl, which wasn't very often. My friend wanted this deck built extra sturdy because she eventually wants to install a hot tub in the middle. I had fun with the dog, she loved to play, had to throw her a ball every 10 minutes it seemed like. Unfortunately my friend told me her dog Cindy passed on a couple of weeks ago, I'll miss her when I go back.

very nice deck, I really like the built in bench, nice touch.

My uncle had a deck on his house looked similar to this one, but his was the full length of the house and was up on the 2nd story of the house so it was a lot taller. One day he steped out on the deck and the whole thing pulled away from the house and he rode it down to the ground. Then he found out that it was only attached to the house by a hand full of 1/4 inch bolts and after a few years they just gave away one day.
It made for a very exciting morning for him.
I am sure your deck won't have that problem. lol
