New Riddle
Got a new one for you.
Who makes it, has no need of it.
Who buys it, has no use for it.
Who uses it can neither see nor feel it.
What is it?

Re: New Riddle
Yeah!! You got it! Well done!
Your idea with life insurance wasn't that bad. But you can't feel an insurance. I guess that's the point.

Re: New Riddle
I think the that life insurance applies to the buyer having no use for it.
anything you buy that you can't use until after your dead, that's pretty much no use for.
But yeah, the person who actually uses the insurance could probably see it unless they were blind.

That person who bought it wanted his body to be put in it.??....so the worms would not eat him.

Re: New Riddle
The one who died uses the coffin.
Usually the family buys the coffin. So they have no use for it.
The one who died is the only one who got use for it and is happy the worms would not eat him

Re: New Riddle
I will keep it simple.....cremation...nothing left for the buzzards. I want my ashes to be gently dropped into a river or the Baie where I was born. Some fish or other might get a few gulps ashes in their mouths. Now it's their turn to eat me...

Re: New Riddle
That's really great in the US. You get the urn and you can do whatever you want with it.
Not so in Germany. You can't just scatter the ashes wherever you want. Usually they bury them in the ground. That's it.

Re: New Riddle
Look at Bremen!! I've never heard that. So thanks for the link! I'll take a look at it.
In Germany, there are also sea burials. But the ashes are not scattered here either. The urn is dropped into the sea.
There is another way to get buried. At a "Friedwald". That is a forest that serves as natural cemetery. You buy a place on a tree that you pick. That's the only thing I can imagine for myself.
But most of all I like the idea of having my ashes scattered to a place I loved in my lifetime ...
